Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of school facilities including building maintenance, transportation, and gardening.
- Supervise and manage the facilities team, including:
- Mechanics
- Building maintenance personnel
- Drivers
- Gardeners
- Cleaning staff
- Security
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the entire school premises.
- Supervise planting, maintenance, and cleanliness of the school garden.
- Monitor, coach, mentor, and train support staff regularly to improve performance.
- Ensure the safety and security of school property, staff, and students.
- Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance and emergency repairs for all facilities.
- Monitor maintenance of vehicles and generators, and track fuel consumption.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage the school’s fleet including vehicle maintenance and driver coordination.
- Prepare and monitor operational budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Assist with planning and execution of school events and functions.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by authorized personnel or management.
Summary
The Operation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational activities within the school premises. This includes supervision of maintenance, transportation, gardening and cleanliness to ensure the school operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.
